Holland & Holland has launched an exciting new joint label to provide a made to measure service for women designed and made by noted designer Roubi L'Roubi.
The joint label will build on H&H's existing ready-to-wear range, employing the famous Holland & Holland range of tweeds to provide a luxury bespoke service exclusively designed and made by Roubi L'Roubi.
Balance is the watchword. Combining the key tweeds in beige, brown and khaki with plain or solid colour fabrics in cashmere, mink and wool mix teamed with leather trims, the collection is aimed at women who appreciate classic tailoring with a modern sensibility. Inspiration comes from the traditional British country lifestyle. Cut and made from the highest grade of English cloth, pieces are rich in detailing with a mix of luxury materials. Jackets are very closely fitted and short, flattering the body, while swing coats and capes are luxurious looser garments, to be worn layered over fitted jackets and skirts.
Strong, structured tailoring – which Roubi describes as masculine in its approach to cutting – is offset with a feel for flair. Pieces include suits, jackets, coats, capes, culottes, skirts and trousers with highlights in leather, horn buttons. All garments are luxuriously lined with 100 per cent pure silk, printed in vibrant designs and colours unique to each individual wearer.
